Change one setting at a time
Do not copy a full list and assume it works for your PC. Keep your map, resolution and test conditions consistent while comparing changes.
Do the operating system work too
Game settings cannot fix a display running at the wrong refresh rate or a heavy recording overlay. Check those before hunting for exotic commands.
